I am sure many of your readers are aware that there is ongoing debate and discussions about the Mount Oswald Manor & Golf Course site on the outskirts of Durham.
This has been in the public eye for a number of years and has recently received a planning acceptance on the site, which was widely reported in the press and on the TV.
What this doesn’t mean is that the course and the site has been shut down, which seems to be the public’s perception following the media attention.
In fact 2013 will see a number of high profile summer events including both Grey and Collingwood Colleges Summer Balls being held at Mount Oswald Manor coupled with a full program of golf events open both to members and non members alike.
